"Bauccio" Aglianico del Vulture DOC
The name of this pure Aglianico wine is taken from Bauccio (Baucium), or Pirro del Balzo, a prince of Venosa from the 15th century. It is produced exclusively in the best years from the farm's finest grapes, harvested and selected by hand. Long macerations and long ageing create an aristocratic wine with a great personality. The taste is full-bodied, rich in extract, with a great structure, marked by an elegant tannin, which leaves a long and caressing finish on the palate. Ideal with substantial first and main courses.
