It is the ancient name for the district, recorded in 1700 in the cabrei (maps) of the ecclesiastical corporations of Venosa. For Cantine Madonna delle Grazie it is the name of our most important vineyards and of our second Aglianico del Vulture DOC wine, a genuine expression of the Vulture terroir. It expresses the minerality of the volcanic soils it grows in through its fragrances and flavours. The passion and hard work of master winemaker Giuseppe, who has devoted a large chunk of his life to the Liscone vineyards, are seen in the wine's strength and sensory elegance.
